Rise of Charm City: Episode X

"Can't We All Just Get Islam?" explores the history of Muslim presence in Baltimore City and the relationship of the city's predominantly black Muslim population and South Asian Muslims in suburbs outside the city. Featured voices in this episode include Imam Earl El-Amin, Islamic Community School principal Zakia Amin, and poet/activist Tariq Touré.

Rise of Charm City is an audio documentary series featuring the oral histories of businesses, landmarks, and neighborhoods in Baltimore City. These photos represent snapshots of voices shared over the course of the first season. 

The show airs biweekly on Fridays at 11:30 a.m. during The Marc Steiner Show on WEAA 88.9 FM. It is also be available for download and streaming via Soundcloud, iTunes, Stitcher, and Acast.
